By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to conceptualize, model, and successfully print their creations using the skills acquired. The following are the outcomes of this workshop:
1) A comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles behind 3D printing technology, including the various types of 3D printers, materials used, relevant applications and the processes involved in creating 3D-printed objects.
2) Hands-on skills in operating 3D printers, from setting up the printer to calibrating it for different printing tasks. Also, participants can troubleshoot, navigate and use slicing software to prepare 3D models for printing.
3) Basics of 3D modeling and design, reverse engineering allowing them to create their own 3D-printable objects.
