Calling out all the professional dance crews to the ultimate championship! YDC is a high intensity competitive platform exclusive to professional dance crews that are ready to push their boundaries and leave their audience dumbstruck!
RULES AND REGULATIONS
This event is of an open category. Any professional crews are allowed. The performance can be of any style.
There is no age limit for the crew members.
All members should carry a valid government recognized ID proof, and should compulsorily bring a hard copy of the consent form that will be mailed to you prior to the event. The consent form will serve as the proof of membership of the particular organization/studio.
Members count allowed – 5 – 18. Apart from this, 3 people are allowed for assistance of lights and setup.
PRELIMS ROUND:
- A recently recorded video or a stage performance should be submitted.
- Time limit - 1.5 minutes.
- The video should be unedited – no cuts, change of frames, or any effects will be allowed.
- Submission deadline: March 4
- The same members present in the video should be present on stage.
SEMI - FINALS
- Top 16 teams will be selected for Round 1.
- This round is an onstage round that will happen in the Kumaraguru Campus.
- All crew members must have completed the registration process (inclusive of payment). Payment per team – Rs 4500.
- This round will take place on 7th March, at 9AM, venue – Auditorium stage, kumaraguru campus.
- The crew should be present 4 hours prior to the event time. If possible, it is recommended to reach the venue the previous night itself. The slots will be given on a first come first serve basis. In case of any clash, it will be done through random lots.
- The decision of the judges will be final.
- Time limit – 2.5 minutes. Any part of the original track can be performed.
- The selected teams will perform on the mainstage for the final round.
FINALS
- Top teams will perform for the final round on the mainstage.
- It will take place on the same day as the semi - finals at evening.
- Time limit – 3 minutes to 3.5 minutes. (+ 30 seconds for the stage setup).
- Properties are allowed, but should not cause any harm to the environment.
- The decision of the judges will be final.
