Inspired by the IMUN conferences and the design thinking model, we present to you Econothon. Put your problem solving and reasoning skills to the test as you present your country's  innovative solutions for the problem statement and debate it out.


  • Two Day Event [28/02/2023 & 01/03/2023 ] - In teams of 3, you will be assigned a country followed by a problem statement.

  • Utilizing the first 3 stages of the design thinking model - Empathize, Define, Ideate - your team will have to come up with innovative solutions while keeping in mind your designated country and present it to a jury.

  • The top 10 teams will move on to debate the feasibility of the proposed solutions by other teams on second day

Think you're up for it? Work with your team and bring out your individuality. Be prepared for heated debate. Stand strong in your solution while identifying the flaws in that of others.
